Our Farm & Region

Our farm lies in Kongsvik — or Kongsvika, as the locals call it — a small community on the southern shore of Hinnøya in Tjeldsund. The house has its own name: Birgittehuset. In Kongsvika it has long been the custom to name houses after the people who first lived in them, and so Birgittehuset carries with it a little piece of local history.

These are images from our everyday life and our region — raw, unhurried and real. A working farm, ancient landscapes, and the kind of quiet beauty that makes you stop and stare.
